Local Chapter Operations Volunteers Needed

Are you retired, or someone who has time to help on a regular, basis?  Our chapter needs volunteers who can help out with normal duties of day to day operation of the chapter.  If you can donate one day a week, or even part of a day on a regular basis, give us a call!  Let us discuss what you can do to help.  You can call the chapter at 229-436-4845 to talk with someone about what is available that would fit into your schedule.

Drills

There are no drills scheduled at this time, however, from time to time drills are scheduled not only by the Red Cross, but also by EMA officials and other Government and Industry leaders.  Check this site from time to time to keep up with the latest on drills that might be scheduled for our area.

Classes and Specialized Training

Some classes run on a standardized repeating schedule.  Others are scheduled according to demand and instructor availability. For classes on a repeating schedule, please call ahead to reserve seating and course materials. For other class, please call to let the chapter know how many people have an interest in scheduling a class, or when an the next available class has been scheduled.

DISASTER VOLUNTEER TRAINING CLASSES

  

There are a number of different classes offered by Red Cross Disaster Services, according to what function / activity you desire to work in.  Classes are scheduled according to local demand for that particular class.

 

The Disaster Services training classes are free. If you are interested in participating in any or all of them, please contact the Chapter at (229) 436-4845 to reserve your place in the next available training session.  Class size is limited in order to ensure that each volunteer has maximum opportunity to interact with the instructor and others in the class as training is in progress..
