Ham Radio and the Red Cross

It is a well established fact that one of the most important assets in any disaster is good communications.  Without it, no agency can perform it's work properly.  It is also a well established fact that "Normal" communications is one of the first things to suffer or fail in a disaster.  Due to these factors, the Red Cross has established and maintains a good, solid, working relationship with the local Ham Radio community.  If you are a Ham Radio Operator in our community, or if you would like to learn more about becoming one, click the link below for information on how to get in touch with the Ham Radio  clubs in our area.
